Tank
Tank
Howdy guys, I’m looking for advice on orders most tankiest tank. I really like the KOTBS, I find myself able to survive long periods even when outnumbered. But, can’t help but wonder if IB is more Tanky at 40/40. I’m also looking for advice for the tankiest builds, thanks for the help.

Re: Tank
Honestly IMHO
I'd say that they are equal? IB is definatly clanky with it's high armor/buffs/armor tactic and also the sustain from grumble and mutter
But KOTBS can be dead ard too with vigilance up, shield of the sun etc
I don't know enough about SnB SM to talk about them

Re: Tank
KOTBS is better team (more supportive... so as well as being hard to kill it brings more to the team)
IB is better if solo/roaming with its self healing ways
So it depends on your usual playstyle/environment... if you are more team based or Solo roaming
both are good options, knight wins though if you are looking for pure teamplay... and then you got the whole knight/knight knight/ib knight/sm if you are looking at 6 man composition... or even knight / 3 dps /2 healer

Re: Tank
KotBS is the toughest tank, all things considered. IB lacks live-tools and gear to get as sturdy ~ however its only a dealbreaker in large scale ORvR; as others have stated, IB excells in small scale and works really well in conjunction with a knight.fox66656 wrote:Howdy guys, I’m looking for advice on orders most tankiest tank. The parrybuff, magic bubble and the various other buffs can take alot of pressure off your group - guarddamage, too, becomes neglible if your guardee sits on 40-50% parry with the buff, sorc rotations evaporate with the magic bubble, willpower buff and HtL.
Note: Unlike KotBS a SnB IB can assist just fine, even in deftard specs.
Re: Tank
I used to main an Ironbreaker full defense tank.
That being said, play the KotBS.
Ironbreakers, while tanky, have a huge Achilles heal in that Chosen and Witch Elves both have the skill Sever Blessing and you will face a metric crap tone of both of those classes.
Ironbreakers are tanky because of all of the defensive self buffs they can put up. All of those buffs are Blessings.
The speed at which your buffs are stripped goes up with every Witch Elf and Chosen present and you cannot reapply them fast enough.
KotBS, on the other hand have auras that are not affected by sever blessing or sever enchantment.
I would never recommend an Ironbreaker over a KotBS.
