Does disrupt count for them by any chance? And if so, how does defense procedure go, check block and then disrupt? On Knight, All out Assault pulses magic damage around him, while Blazing blade is a melee attack that does magic dmg, but i saw it getting parried, so i thought for melee it goes block and parry, and for ranged and aoe block and disrupt, but then i see Staggering impact also gets blocked and parried, and that is aoe dmg, but physical.
So now i'm under impression that block and parry count for melee st physical and magic, and physical aoe, while block and disrupt is for ranged st and aoe?
Would appreciate examples from other classes.

Re: Question about magic dmg and melee attacks
It is always Block check and then the weapon specific check (parry, dodge or disrupt). Regardless of the attack being physical or non-physical.
E.g. Knight uses melee weapons --> Parry for all his attacks
E.g. ranged Squig Herder uses Bow --> Dodge on all ranged attacks
E.g. melee Squig Herder (rSH in Squig Armor) uses his Spear --> Parry for all his attacks
E.g. Archmage uses Staff --> Disrupt on all attacks
E.g. Archmage uses Staff --> Parry for their (melee range) Auto Attack

Re: Question about magic dmg and melee attacks
Block is for every kind of attack. If an attack gets through block, it can still be parried/ dodged/ disrupted.anaxandus wrote: ↑Sat May 24, 2025 6:32 pm Does disrupt count for them by any chance?
