One of the best PvP games I've ever played (slightly below WoW for me), and the lore is very good as a Tolkien nut (though I prefer 40k)

Well the Fantasy orcs are slightly less obnoxious than the 40k orks, I guess, they're still the worst thing to have happened to Warhammer.

It is by far the best PvP game I have ever played. It got essentially everything right, in my opinion, of what an MMO should have. Classes actually have a roll to play and depending on how you build your character you can meet that role exactly or hybridize it. I'm also a huge fan of the Warhammer Fantasy lore. But, the main reason why I love WAR so much is that when my wife and I started dating I JUST got my CE WAR game in the mail and she saw it and was intrigued and it became her first MMO. We've made a lot of good friends and memories playing WAR and also made some frenemies lol. WAR and RoR so far has had the best community of players I've been able to be a part of.

Only things I thought that would have made it better was a 3rd faction and more End game dungeons xP

thank you all for answering, it's inspiring to hear everyone's story. a lot of people have said pvp for their answers, what did you guys like about it? I haven't seen many roleplayers around, and dungeons were amazing

WAR was my first MMO ever. It was the only one I ever needed. I enjoyed the lore, the quests, the dungeons and the PvP. I play RoR for the hopes to see all of this once again. Most of all, WAR and RoR is for me the wonderful people that I have had the great fortune to have met both online and (as in the cases of my closest guildmates) in real life. I also met my better half in my first ever ToVL run and we have been WAR buddies ever since. RoR is to me a return of the game I loved so much. I never minded the constant changing and evolving of the game, so it doesn't bother me in RoR either (says the Chosen of Tzeentch) As I told everyone who ever asked me how long I intended to play WAR every time an unpopular change came along, the same applies to RoR, I will be here till they turn the lights out on me.

There are so many different types of PvP in the game, catering to every type of player, which is why it embodies the idea of an MMOPVP game perfectly.

ror =/= WAR

My answer: because it is warhammer. I'd play WAR no matter what kind of game it was. As long as it is Warhammer, then I have got my fix.
