Re: Changing Renown Mastery Point Levels

@Shadowgurke The concerns for power gap aren't for the weeks immediately following the change. The devs did a great job of slowing the pace of the gap occuring by adding the 75% reduction past rr40. But for later down the road, as well as any new characters hitting t4.

@Sizer Good point. Perhaps a change to 15/30/45/60. Still provides a reason to go past 40, 45 is easy enough to obtain. Still gives more of the mastery points to those who do not have as many hours as others to get to rr70+ as quickly.

@Annaise16 Since it is only a 2% effectiveness increase in your eyes, I take it you would be on board with this change then. You are right, 3 mastery points for some careers/builds isn't that great. But for others it can mean much more utility.

I'm with Az on this.

Part of the reason you get to 80 is the power you get when facing other players. If they don't want to do the work, then they don't get the rewards.

The gap in t4 between a r32 and rr80 gonna be:

The gear gap: (probobly the biggest one)
Rank 32 vs 40: Missing about about 5 core skills/tactics/morales and a tactic slot
Mastery points. 12 Mastery points betweeen a rr80 and a 32
Renown points: 48 Renown points in difference.

And people wonder why people do power leveling????
You can eliminiate the lack of core abillties and the tactic slot by doing this. You gain 8 extra Mastery points. People do it to be competative.
