OH TRUST ME, they know about RoR!!!! I could name you many names that MOST of us know from Badlands.CegeePegee wrote:I think a lot of old NA players simply don't know that this project exists AND I think there are a lot of players that have left for various reasons that may not know about all the progress that has taken place. Getting the word out to people who don't know about the project is kind of tricky since its all word-of-mouth.
Another thing that I notice during our primetime is that there actually will be plenty of people logged in but still nothing appears to be happening. Idk if this is because people are shy about starting up a wb or premade or if most guilds/alliances only have a few people logged in and therefore feel they have no one to play with and so they decide to go grind or PL or play alts, but I'm all the time seeing decent numbers of players on but nothing is going on. Perhaps, as a people, us NAers should try to make a better effort to just get something, anything started out in the lake and stop being so shy/antisocial![]()
Maybe some EU ppl can chime in on how you found out about this project and how you've helped to spread the word? Maybe us NAers are just doing it wrong
The thing is, They just dont like few things here and there... and some other things about RoR.

Ping
EU players have ping under 100 (likely under 50). US players have ping over 100 and can't stand it.

Re: US: What can we do?
Firstly, stay active and participate in activities in t4, join the current RvR, be helpful in the group or Warband that you are in. Secondly, inform the lower tier players when possible, that tier 2 and 3 have merged, what level they can participate at and if you happen to know which zine the fighting is in, direct them there. Thridly, promote the game through message boards, steam and with your gaming friends.
Issues we are fighting:
*Ping
*Limited campaign progression (its coming!)
*The low levels of population in super tier compared to t4
* Lack of player drive to stimulate RvR due to historical stigma of a ghost town.
*Limited engaging alternative leveling options if RvR lakes are quiet.

Re: US: What can we do?
Its really too bad because t2/3 has been anything but a ghosttown during NA primetime lately. Over the past 2 weeks or so I can go play in t3 and have a full open warband most nights and if there isn't a warband, I simply make one and its full within minutes, like lastnight in Talabecland. Maybe it would be beneficial to mention on social media the new-found activeness of t2/3 if that really is whats holding people back from returning...
Re: US: What can we do?
I hope things continue like that of which you speak of CegeePegee. That is promising. If may ask, did you find yourself forming the warband or joining an existing one more often than not?

Re: US: What can we do?
Usually I just join an existing one. Almost every night when i get on (approx 7:30p est) there is a t3 open wb going. Last night it crashed after a zone take (prob someone flew to IC) and when it didn't reform I went ahead and made my own and it filled up very quickly.Gerv wrote:I hope things continue like that of which you speak of CegeePegee. 100% agree with your assessment. I just leveled a chosen through the combined tiers and it was anything but a ghost town. Now running a BO through it. Destro had 2 full t3 warbands all day yesterday , I went from 16 to 24 over the weekend with zero pve though I really need it to level my pot crafting but couldn't walk away from all the RVR action.CegeePegee wrote:Its really too bad because t2/3 has been anything but a ghosttown during NA primetime lately. I'm glad your experience has been good as well. I know the mid-tier progression is only part of the equation but I really do wonder if the perceived emptiness of those tiers due to past experiences is what is keeping some people away. As players we need to get the word out that this legacy issue has (mostly) been fixed now and its fun to level again.
