Hi lads.
For those who remember, at one point Keeps had a detachment of guards patrolling them, with a Lord at their top. Mythic decided to remove that for whatever reason and it made me a sad panda. It made the maps a bit more 'living'.
I wanted to know the devs' opinions on that. For T2's keeps, will you add back guards, or stick to Mythic's changes?

I'm kind of doing my implementation based on the Warhammer Online Production Videos. Which include the guards. I'm up for debate however.

I vote 4 Guards. The whole "claiming a guildkeep" mechanic was really good. After they cut out the content, the RvR areas felt more empty and boring (especially in lower tiers).

Guards must stay, I remember mythic making guards an important part of oRvR, especially when it boiled down to guilds claiming a keep.
I really liked how you could fly a your guilds heraldry over the top of it.

Yuhp. Make the guards stay AND apply AAO to them - the more enemy players on the territory of the keep (and BO's - why not) - the tougher and meaner the guards.

But for keep claiming we need a different rvr system, with other zone lock mechanics. Patch 1.4.8 was the one with resource carriers.
Well, I won't have a problem with 1.4.8 RvR with additional keep guards. Much like BO guards.
Claiming a keep and have to stop the attackers for x minutes because you are improving the guards or the gate was fun but I think it is too different from 1.4.8.

I played WAR only in the time guards and npcs were present in lakes. Cant imagine empty keeps

We need a poll, but as far as I remember on the previous private server overhelming number of people had voted for keep guards

Keep the guards! It requires the other side to work together.
