Comic back after a long time, how to progress on my chosen?

Hey everyone,

i was looking around and decided to come back to RoR since the last time i had to go was due to some RL stuff and my character was only beginning to take shape.

Basically i have gotten my ruin armor, done my T4 epic quest and left at that point.

What is my most optimal way of progressing with him, in terms of gear as well as quests/benchmarks to hit?
And an off-topic question, i always had a rough time making money in RoR any 101 advice for that?

Gunbad is the next step after Ruin, or just start running in RvR warbands and pick up some renown and RvR gear. If it's been long enough, the bag system is totally different. Everyone gets a personal roll, and not winning a bag adds a bonus to your next roll that accumulates until you win something.
