Dual wield for SM and a shield for the WP?

I've often seen images of a dual wielded sword master, if it's about "The Path of Hoeth" and also saw some concept arts of the warrior priest with a shield. I'm pretty new to this game, so my question is: Where those options aviable in the former official game? and are their plans already to make it possible one day maybe?

Almost 100% certain it's an apperance bug and they are just SnB.
I kinda hope the BG one will be fixed, as I keep mistaking them for DoK's

I remember when I was testing the Swordmaster, that I got one sword for the SECONDARY hand, I think I couldn't wield it... but which class of the High Elves is able to wield that? Shadow Warriors? Archmages? Or is actually nobody able to dual wield as any High Elf class, without being a specific bug/ modification?

I would really appreciate off hand items that look like a weapon.
For exampe a shield that is looking like a sword or a book that looks like a hammer or a shield.

Just for appearance. Not changing mechanics.

I mirror the sentiment that having cool or outlandish appearance items would be nice.

However, I think a Warrior Priest with a shield would be one of the most overpowered things in the game lol.

A shield would mean, no ressource regen, which would make him heavily reliant on ap and his regen channel not being interupted.
Probably not as op as you might think.
