Not sure when your losing streak was but yesterday evening-night I made like 90k rp with sc in midtier and won much over 90% of all order sc.
Even sc with only 1-2 healers on our side against 4-5 on destro side.
Making premade groups via /5 chat is essential, albeit I made plenty of those wins solo, it only helps to ensure, that the group setups are right e.g. having healers and tanks and at best some class synergies.
It doesn't help with players having no appropriate items for their rank.
At lvl 16 everyone is supposed to run city dungeons for keepers set, if they want to have a strong char for midtier.
This pve and a bit sc and you are rank 17. You buy talismans, no excuses, there are cheap ones and you don't need the very best - lvl16 green is fine, blue would be better still but you lose only a few stats.
With this gear, you can start to perform very well, even better than many rank 30+.
The rank is no reason to lose sc.
Since lvl16/17 I lead the healing charts in sc and I still do with lvl30. No matter what char you play, results come with experience and a higher rank isn't helping you, when a player lacks the basics.

Re: Explain Imbalance
Man I dont know how Mythic dropped the ball and went so far from what made DAoC great to this, but its just plain not fun.
All day the options are:
1. Get rolled over in SC's 9/10 times as RR is a forced grind that you cant avoid, and Destro just cant be beat by any SC group apparently therefore making your grind excruciatingly long. Seriously premade Order vs pug Destro is still a loss 3/4 of the time.
2. Go to orvr, have a battle on a hill where Destro will wait a few mins and build morale, then push and bomb your whole faction to death.. and repeat that like 50x in 2hrs b/c Order doesnt understand what being farmed is. I dont think cows go in this willingly..
3. Go to a keep siege and sit around for 2hrs getting just one door down b/c people both dont know how to use a ram and other people trololol the ram. Then after sitting there for 2hrs get wiped b/c 5 BO/Choppas come out the gate and Order immediately flees in terror.. you know 5vs200 has that effect on ya.
4. Go to a zone and try to get some solo/duo action only to get rolled over by 4 WE or SH with 2 guard bots. If you see a non-stealther looking for a duel, just run.. theres secretly 3 WE's just waiting for you to commence fighting.
Sorry guys, but anytime I will say WoW is better than something its a sad day. This game is just a mess. Devs did a good job for the most part, lots of work, but its just not worth playing this incoherent jumble of ideas that dont work.

this game isnt solo game
many people need to undestand that

Re: Explain Imbalance
check City ini's next time... Destro wins all city sieges when you compare which side has won more Instances...joeshmoe75 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 1:23 am Can somebody explain the imbalance to me for pre-40 SC's. I played the game at live, but that doesnt mean I know anything and frankly I barely remember this game at all. As Order I'm lucky to win 1 in 4 SC's at best.
...my current streak is 2-18.. Yesterday it was 4-23. So whats the real issue for Order?
It's always 2/1 up to 4/1 Winratio for Destro. Now it's on you, do you think destro have so much more good players?

with Choppa/Mara destro has actually a better meele Train, and they have the Moral advantage...
That's something you can handle pretty easy with a Premade. But Pugs vs Pugs you mostly stand no chance...
It's my point of view on the Pug Sc's / Citys... But don't get me wrong, some weeks ago in mid SC i won 90% and from my city's i had on my new alt i won ~80-85%
So if you can coordinate some good players arround you, you will have a much better experience...
Over all the game is not "Imbalance", in some points it's a little bit off...

Re: Explain Imbalance
There is no imbalance, you can do the same as Order or Destro, run 20 games on either solo and win 25% - 40% most times, or if your really having a good day 70%, everyone complains on both sides about this, it is the same arguments, same story over and over again.
"Order have too many healers" or "order have too many ranged healers" or "WL's so OP'd"
to
"Destro SH mDPS needs nerf" or "why so many shammies? so OP'd" or "Choppa needs a nerf, increase CD's to 10mins each, that'll teach them"
it is getting ridiculous, the only imbalance i note is the willingness of Order to surrender matches... seriously, i have seen dozens of games where players after an initial push of a BO decide to hit "vote surrender". For example yesterday in the Trollcountry SC there was a score difference of 25pts in Destro favour 3mins in the game and some fool decide's to hit "vote surrender", spent then the remainder complaining about how everyone was a noob, contributing nothing other than sitting in the backline, a game we promptly won i should add.
I don't get the mentality of some folk, they just want to join a match where the result is already determined as a victory, what is the point of competing? you would rage at your local sports team for this attitude.

Re: Explain Imbalance
Thats a point, people doesnt care win, ppl care about kill. But You can get both.Draugris wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 8:27 am Yep and that is exactly my point. In solo scenarios without any premades players more often than not go for the kill and not for the objective. I can not count the times I lost Nordenwatch because people zerged at mid while the opponents flagged Lighthouse and Barracks without any interference. And of course, Gear is a non-issue there. If you play as a group and coordinate yourself you can carry a SC of course in many ways.

Re: Explain Imbalance
Started a few weeks ago on this server. I'm having alot of fun! Used to play order back on live (IB is a blast to play).
Tried destro now and wanted to go healer since i will almost only pug. Thats just what my schedule is atm. Im 39/41 zealot and tbh it's 50/50 win/loss for me. I would say pug scenario i have won more. That has to do a little bit with me playing a healer class, i kinda know how to position and who to heal when etc. So me as solo healer will have a larger impact in pug scenarios.
I've gotten completely destroyed alot of times by good players (and when im slow on detaunt
).
My advice is hang in there with one character and accept your losses, try to learn new tactics. Help out in sc/wb chat if you got any advice. Just a simple "rush a" or "stick togheter"
can work
Happy hunting!

Re: Explain Imbalance
A side observation regarding scenario imbalance.
Whilst playing a number of low level scenarios I became aware of the distinct imbalance in the number of players on each side.
Even at the beginning of a scenario, 'Destruction' were outnumbering Order by up to 25% (12 to 9).
Whilst I can understand and accept that there will be an element of imbalance due to class selection, level difference bringing extra skills and 'Quiters'/CTD's, player number imbalance does seem 'curious'.

Re: Explain Imbalance
Idk of this helps but I play both sides and I definitely feel like I win more scenarios on Order in t4 but leveling I would say it just depends if u get lucky or not.
