Whispering Winds, Blurring Shock, Superior ST dmg, Stackable resist debuffs, Stat steal and Spammable snare are great abilities and bring just as much to the table as IB can atm.

Also I assume Silverwf is talking about scenario parties? Or is he talking about group setup within a RvR warband?????

his post is about a six man not a 6 men within a warband.

while i agree with sm+kotbs are the BiS group tanks atm - even tho you give up a long range kick, some aps and the outgoing -, i hardly disagree with a lot he mentioned. i was about to stop reading when he mentioned Chosen as destru tank which is right now probably the worst tank ingame. talking about a "support" dps is also odd. naming the wl and mrd as example is... well i got no words.

What makes Chosen the worst tank in the game? I always figured they were the cheese Destru tank with the 3 perma auras. One being a AoE heal debuff

Nothing, don't pay attention to trolls
Chosen and KOTBS - are top tanks atm, they are perfectly good in the any cases you only can imagine.

Is this your definition of a strong party? sorc WE? :P
SilverWF wrote:Shaman is a bit better healer than AM, because of 1 extra HOT with TOU buff, but both of them are less needed healers in groups.
The hot you are talking about is the strongest hot in game. Clearly a) you have no idea about the class mechanics b) You don't even know how to play. Toughness hot and snare pool are great tools for a mage party, like the one u seem to be so fond of. The term you re missing from your vocabulary is kiting and it's essential for a sorc grp ---> this is why sorc/WE is a bad combo. It just takes extra skill to play a shammy, something that either you or the ppl you've played with lacked.

Not to mention the fact you wouldn't mind having a bomb sorc and a WE in the same party. So many wtfs in just one thread, 10/10.

Sounds so ironic after your post :/
PS: I really hope you were just trying to troll us.

Read carefully before you are shame yourself with posts like this.
Especially something with italic font

I presume you refer to this with the italics reference. Same ****, different classes. Again a) bad dps combos (slightly better than sorc/WE, ill give you that) b) no double maras/WLs. I guess a 1k armor reduction isn't op enough for you :(
Only chose the sorc/WE combo cuz i thought it was the worst.

You are the one shaming yourself once again, but that's none of my business. =D

Edit: forgot the double in mara grp setup :)

what can they bring to the table atm besides a resistance aura? chosen will be viable at 35 and above (the exact power spikes are 35 and 39) but atm he can't compete with all the other tanks ingame. i don't call the class in general weak since it is later on by far one of the best tanks but for now you can replace him with any other tank. BO and BG are the BiS destru tank setup when it comes to 2/2/2 setups which do not include double aoe sorc.
katroulitsa wrote:sorc/WE is a bad combo.
any r + mdps setup is fairly weak since it will force you to play around the rdps and to take care about a weak point in your backline. you will lose frontline pressure and your tanks will suffer and be limited in their max. potential.
