You should use SnB SM in large scale. In small scale you can't even benefit the full effect of HTL with a 6man and its pretty much the only benefit the Sheild gives SM. But in 24 man its a massive boost. It prevents pulls. AoE Silences, Demonic stagger effect and massivly mitigrates Sorc damage when used properly by several tanks.

Then you have the other things like spreading out Resistance debuff with WoH and Heavens Blade, this debuff stacks with Kotbs Res debuff. WW massivly increase the damage output of BW (Spammeble Annahilate) and Slayers (Innevteble Doom). Then you have extra group immunity with Crushing Wave. Aswell as either extra group healoutput or extra AoE dps output depending on wich tactics you use.

I think the real question that needs to be asked here is why don't we see more Swordmasters dual-wielding?

SM and SW should both dual wield, but yeah, they'd be using DoK animations for their attacks.

Personally I love the SnB SM. They offer pretty decent damage with some CC. They're an amazing front line guard. Throw it on a Slayer and go to town. :D

If I remember correctly WL didn't mean to be a pet class originally and was redesign due to someone felt that it would be unfair that Destro had 2 petclasses while Order just 1. Considering the issues that came with petclasses AI and the how badly the pets plays in large scale combat, this was probobly a really bad decision.

What SM isn't the dps class and WL isn't the support dps? What is this madness...
