Counterproductive how though? Its still bug fixing cuz those specific items supposed to have appearancewargrimnir wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 2:16 amThat would be counterproductive to all the bugged gear we've fixed over the years to avoid characters missing pieces of gear they are actually wearing.Grock wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 7:38 pmCan we have some actual cosmetic gear with "hidden" appearance instead? At least for boots, gloves and shouldersReturnOfReckoning wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 11:43 am [15946] A choppa needs boots so he can dye them red to be fasta.
If not for everyone then at least for slayers and choppas
I'm talking about new options, a cosmetic reward maybe like those highRR dyes. Many modern MMOs have already added options to hide almost everything, there's no reasons to keep WAR an exception
You can already hide a helmet, realistically the most important piece of armor. Choppas can pretty much hide body armor by using starting gear, Ironbreakers have T1 gloves that look like pair of bracelets - nothing like their T3-T4 gauntlets.
Shoulders and gloves wouldn't be a big deal except maybe for some very armored classes like BO/chosen. But think of slayer/choppa/witch elf and most lightly armored caster classes - it wouldn't even be noticeable.
Its not like its gonna break immersion more than neon-bright dyes
