Launcher Dies :(

I just downloaded the torrent today. I moved it from my downloads and closed my torrent client. I changed permissions on the folder (basically gave everyone full permissions). I'm unable to fully uncheck Read Only, not sure why. When I run RoRLauncher.exe, it will come up, I will click update, it'll progress fast, and then close. Nothing else happens. I went through the pinned post, enabled directx 3.5 and legacy compatibility. Not sure what else to do. :(

I'm on Win10, GTX1070, 24GB RAM....

Make sure the game folder isnt on your desktop but somewhere else (preferably on your C drive). Also have you tried to set the RoR launcher/Ror updater aswell as both WAR.exe and WAR-64.exe to run as admin?
