[Chosen] Path of Discord issues

So I really want to make a Path of discord build and warlord seems to be the only set geared towards that path it is also really not a good stat line as there are about 4-5 sets better stats then warlord. Is it worth the hit to stats to keep warlord on for the +2 path levels and 8 piece ability. I really want to stay discord but gear wise that looks like all I am doing is nerfing myself. I just really don't know what I should do for gear if path of discord is my end game goal.
