Engineer's ability "friction burn" vs slayers "onslaught"

This ability is a frontal cone damage over time attack which deals three ticks of damage over 9 seconds.

This functions exactly like "onslaught" (which is a slayer ability) used to.

Onslaught however got buffed, it got an additional tick on application.
I think engineer / magus melee bomb spec needs some work and copying this slayer buff to engi's melee aoe spec would be a step in the right direction.
