this game is horribly unbalanced in 1v1. engi is a nice pve solo but in rvr u are at best pathetic. a enemy dps can 3shot you no matter what you do. if you wanna be mor tanks get the right path (tinkerer) but do never hope to kill 1v1 a witch elf or marauder or chops who got some brain or gear.

So if you want to survive vs a ranged dps you shoud have a Flame Turret ready as it gives a big Dodge Bonus is you have full bonus. With a armor and Bugmans you can survive an rdps. Although cant shoot back as your range is then reduced.

i find best option is counter fire. for survive vs SH i start with disarm (crack shot) then full burst combo with my lovely turret down.
1v1 vs range wins who can cc/outburst the other. in case morale 1 pop i activate immediately to have permadodge for 8 secs.

Well played engi with 50% less kd tactic makes minced meat of both of those classes 1v1. You should literally never lose to 99% of current WE or mara 1v1 if you spec tanky as ****.

Agree. Engi who knows how to spec for 1v1 will hit like train simultaneously being unkillable. One of the strongest 1v1 heroes but hurr durr you have to know how to play it.
