Because offensive statistics gave defensive statistics.
WS/INI change is very good.
Besides, no good mdps in the history of warhammer ever invested a parry because you mostly die anyway on KD and burst goes in the back (fighting against good opponents).
Is it worse to have a stat that offers a mix of Offense and Defense which Weapon Skill did for 15 years, or have a Defensive stat that gives Anticrit and 2 types of Avoidance?

Also, it was very common among good players to stack Parry in competitive environments as DPS, in fact, it's still common. You can't always perfectly hit from the back with a full group, and what if you just parry the KD? What if you parry Heal Debuff?
Truth 100%. All of the Original Iconic builds are Mostly Offensive Dps/One or Two very high Defensives(parry, block, toughness, many absorbs etc) and those usually relied on many procs! This was most rr90 people if melee dps archetype, 2x offensive Doomflayer pieces and 2x defensive DF pieces. you got " 10% on hit to increase critical hit rate by 15% and critical dmg by 25% " as offensive 2x bonus. 1200 Absorb proc 10% on being hit was 2x defensive df set bonus. All Melee dps+Dps Dok/Wp had same offensive set procs. Magic dmg Dealers/Lifetap Dps Healers had the same procs.

Some classes got Boost V/VI on top of Sove DF/Wf Crit rate/Crit dmg proc and they stacked! I remember on my SH 7pc offensive sove 10% on hit to get 10% Crit 20% Crit dmg for 10 sec and 66dps(sove lvl when rr80 was max) Bow with 12% Crit/18% Critical dmg for 10s. They stacked to 38% Critical dmg + 19% Critical rate which was awesome + gave me good space to have Enough all defenses or 1-2 stacked to very high rates.

Anyway those are some experiences that are kind of like 15+ Yrs WS having both offensive/defensive attributes as the Norm. And its Better option than what we currently have. All except 2h WP should lose 2h 10% Parry strikethrough. Obvious Melee Healer reasons + this is how original War was. Existence of Lifetapper builds + Melee healer builds are another good example of deep this philosophy of Offense/Defense(heal) Warhammer ways go : D

EDIT; 2h Doomflayer For Tanks. This 2pc bonus is genious imo, because these are only things in WAR that debuffs Melee Heals/Lifetaps, any heal or even Potions if i remember right!

Doomflayer (Offensive)
Str - 289
WS - 182
Tou - 170
Wou - 141
6% melee crit chance
80 melee power
5% reduced chance to be parried
4 AP per second
5% parry
6% critical damage
Set Bonuses
2 piece - On Hit: 10% chance to reduce the next two heals on the target within 10 seconds by 516.
4 piece - On Hit: 10% chance to increase Melee Power by 238 for 10 seconds.

Man its actually getting very boring. There are lots of archieves from live, you dont have to cope around that so much. Live havent been perfect, nor RoR is. Could you please stop with all this stuff?

I have some points but oh well, i bring up things id want in RoR and believe the game would be better off for everyone of us if things i bring up did exist in the game=) Lots of extremes and solutions with alot more options what i do vs now is what i want if i try to say it in one sentence, ICONIC builds back is that really too much of an ask on an forum? im not expecting these things to happen, but i will say them

EDIT, These Forums have been boring for years, ive not. And what do you think im doing when you say can i stop doing it? serious question.
