Critical Success on Purple Int Fragment = Blue Talisman???

I got a 175 purple in fragment from salvaging an item and used the following to make a talisman...

lvl 1 container
lvl 175 purple int fragment
lvl 200 flawless gold essence
lvl 200 forgotten soliders insignia curio
lvl 175 singing essence

I was "lucky" and got a critical success and got a potent talisman of the literati, a blue rank 36 +20 Int talisman. What?
