Launcher update?

My game crashed, and when i attempted to launch the game again, the ROR launcher connect button changed to an update button. When clicking on it, it says that the update failed and i get this:-

Error Downloading updater:

Do you see a RoRUpdater.exe in your WAR folder, if so run that without the launcher running.

If that fails manually download the updated launcher and place it in your war folder.

i had the red update, on the launcher and it worked.

Just out of curiosity - what method worked for you?

Deleted the old launcher and downloader the new one from the link.

Had to disable firewalls both Norton and windows (because the file was unknown)

Then it worked fine...thanks for the help

Hey folks...I am getting the same error even after manually downloading the launcher.

I did notice that the login server is showing as red now. Is anyone else having issues getting in?
