First of all, why do I want to do this. Well, it always helps to have an extra language for your game, who knows what opportunities or players might be swayed by the presence of their language to join your project. Talking from experience here, I started gaming because my very first game had a translation in Romanian. Therefore, I want to give the people out there the chance to play on your server barring the language barrier.
Time I can put into this?
Two weeks and maybe a month from here and there. I can't do constant work, but given enough time I can translate the entire game no problems.
Experience with translations?
I am the son of an engineer who has very basic notions/next to none of English and for the last four years I translated all sorts of things from English to Romanian. The fact that I'm alive and there was no catastrophe in my city despite the fact that a lot of the local street light system/mall/security department of hypermarkets maintenance was done via my translations should vouch for my ability.
