Obviously solo and premades need to be separate if at all possible but I doubt with how small the pop is for most of the night it could be done without killing pops totally. Maybe a few changes to how discordants work would help?

Discordant sc's should be 1 map during the week and the event sc on the weekend. That 1 sc during the week needs to be a small map that quickly gets you into the action with little to no pve involved but still lets ranged players have fun too.

I don't que discordants because I will more often than not get huge maps with like 3 people, playing phoenix gate with 3 is just pain. Give me mourkain temple or gates of ekrund or caledor woods, maps all classes can be effective in and will end quickly in case you are getting smashed.

While we are at it speed up point gain so the sc ends even quicker during a total whooping for faster wins/losses and more sc pops with less surrenders. Its not losing that bothers me really its waiting 2+hours for a pop then getting smashed but having to wait 15 freaking minutes for that garbage to end.

There should be 2/2/2 matchmaking in all scenarios, maybe with an option for only 1 healer. There needs to be at least some healer before scen launches.

They should also give a display of how many are in Q and which archetype like the ranked scen dashboard does.

Having a message tell you when there is a shortage of healers preventing pops would be good too to encourage ppl to switch.

At any rate, pugs should never be forced to fight premades aka premades farming pugs for easy rewards.

most likely because most people click join all instead of specifically solo queue.

Imo remove all SC options besides three

Event(Some events can be solo. other can be premade enabled).

(maybe allow duos in solo. as long as players dont abuse it to sneak in premades it isnt too bad just having a friend with you. 2 out of 20 randoms wont make too much of a difference)
I X-Realm to the losing team to make them lose harder.

- Dont que solo, build or join a group. Its small scale content for groups, not for solos, cause its an MMO.

- DONT que solo. Join a group in lfg chat and que with a group, like you do for RVR.

- man wtf! dont que solo! you will loose vs. groups, you need to join a group by yourself!

Even though the git guud fels like ghe right choice it is factually safe to say it has depleted the SC population to a point where there is hardly no one playing SC at all (just under geared rr40s that rage quit the server after being methodically stomped).

The players you used to see, yes solo ppl that liked SCs pretty much recognised each other by name and learned how to co op are now gone.

Not working just like pretending groups wants to fight groups is factually wrong

Low sc population and no pops is an effect of the implementation not the other way around

The Problem with solo queue is. most people just click queue all for faster queue(Queue times are the most important thing to the average player). until they get swept into a few games with premades and they stop queueing and go back to blobbing in lakes.
they COULD made premades of their own. but SCs(atleast to me) are a low stress form of pvp, less blobbing, less coordination just a bit of casual fun for rewards after a long hard day of running around in lakes. im sure others would agree with me

the only option being premade yourself or dont queue wont solve anything. theres a reason why premade only queues were dead 24/7.
premades are not interested in fighting other premades otherwise ranked would still be alive.

if i can queue a mode and stomp newbies for rewards all day. best believe thats gonna be my option. unfortunately it has and will continue to demoralize new players and i dont see any solutions coming in the near future.
SC queue times will just get longer and longer as the fresh players realize theres no point queueing while premades are on the prowl.

(another option would be separating low RR and High RR. dont think ive ever seen a low RR premade group).

and like the filthy orc above mentioned. i much rather deal with coordinated randoms vs seal team 6 premades.
If its a group of random good players theres a bit of fun in that since theres no comms/strats/perfect team synergy setup.
I X-Realm to the losing team to make them lose harder.
