Greetings,

once again I have decided to post my mind on the forums and I'd like to see people's reaction. Since the last update to the RvR system, the fighting died. There are mostly only minor fights in Praag between loners and groups. I, as one of the people that have little to noone to play with, and dedicated to stay in my guild with people from my country, have no real reason to join up with warbands and try my luck with random people who half the time are afk in camps, or are leaching loot rolls.

Since the medals drops only from killing, there is no reason to try to lock zones. Even attacking keeps is really not a choice since the doors are buffed to withstand an army, and rams are still not working, while the oil does work more than enough. But enough with disagreeing with the system, I am sure that sooner or later someone will change it to more proper form.

The real reason I am writing today is this.I would like to humbly propose an open ground to duel people, to let dedicated fighters earn their living in fair combat. Place where Order and Destruction can meet, where there will be known, that they will be allowed to fight without fear of ganking. Even if it was only guarantee of a word given.

I would ask the Developers and GMs to think about this idea, to give solo players some chance to earn their living. As of now, without any default rewards in form of medailon currency, there is only one way of earning them. And for some of us its really not a choice we can depend on. Besides, it would be a great thing that could lead to a good tradition on the server.

As much as I like dueling (I spent 90% of my time dueling on my magus on live), I am afraid that this would detract from the game's main style: large-scale RvR.

However, there are dueling events being organised by Dirtyz in remote/empty parts of the lakes, and they have (so far) gone very well. I would recommend that you check this out (it's a dueling tournament being planned)

Just pick a zone.

For instance on this server duels might be in CW. So if things are slowing down and theres not much to do you could fly to CW and see if anyone is out there for duels.

Just need to come together as a server/community and decide upon what zone that will be.

Eataine and Chaos Wastes were the best places to host duel events iirc.
