Good luck. It is a long journey and requires major lifestyle changes.
Be patient with it, too. Healthy weight loss will usually come at 1-2 lbs per week. The first couple of weeks are an exception, but any more than that is probably not healthy.

Good luck! I was once 200 pounds, but after taking a Sumner to work on my weight I got down to a more manageable 170. As long as you keep at it, you can't fail.

I've dropped from 360 to 280 in about 2 years and am taking it slow.
Keep with it. It might get bumpy, and you might have a bad day or week here and there but just keep at it.

Have you considered intermittent fasting? Something like the 5-2 diet. While its difficult it has amazing results on blood sugar, cell repair and toxin levels. Its a more natural diet like the one we evolved with and lets the body rest from energy production/storage and manage and repair itself.

Start taking L-Carnitine and some thermogenic fat burner. Start easy with aerobic exercises, try running for 10-15 min then gradually increase up to 20-30 min. Push ups, pull ups, burpees would do also a very good job for toning your muscles. My advice is run 5 min, stop for one set push ups, pull ups, burpees, then again 5 min run, then again stop for one set, and so on. The important thing is not to stop for long rests, just a continuous exercise. Include some sit ups, leg ups and plank to strengthen the abdomen. Nutrition regime is very important, but don't go extreme eating only fruits and vegetables or not eating at all. My advice is to contact a specialist for the menu. Also don't cut completely sweets, just reduce it to one small treat per day. That way you'll not feel so restricted. The main thing is not to despair after the first significant loss of weight. After that it gets slower, but it's important to continue until you reach your goal.
