Shatter Limbs can still have an AoE damage component, but apply its effect to the offensive target if they are within x ft of the caster. This would be an excellent fix.

My own opinion:

- Stopping at 27 is not an option. Group cleanse is a terrible thing in its current form and I'd rather not leave the cap at the very first level at which this tactic is acquired.

- I can nerf Shatter Limbs, but if we're gonna start making hard skill changes for OP classes, I would like to start buffing up BO/SM at the same time. I say go for it. We all know what classes/skills need to be fixed/nerfed/buffed.

- Pushing for 31 is also an option, but it would have to be agreed with by all. I do actually desire to fully finish the mastery trees, which end at 31. I would love for the level cap to be at 31. With more skills out there to test, balance fixes should be easier to make.

probably im to stupid, but shatter has 5m range? im 26 now and cant find any tactics with names destroy confidence that increases that range? where is my fault? ^^

Yes, they will. But in the same manner as they do more damage, other clases will become counters: X skill that shuts down the power of Y skill. (Right now, there is not a "good" counter). RvR gear will help mitigate this damage. Healers will heal more, tanks will tank more (Poor BO / SM need some love though imo) and dps will dps more.

Ideally, it becomes balanced.

But in practice? We'll have to see...

The skill Shatter Confidence (for KotBS) has a 65ft range. It removes an enchantment and damages the target as well. They have a tactic calle Destroy Confidence (level 39 tactic), which makes this skill remove THREE enchantments from the target and damage them three times as much.

All Shaman heals HoTs are enchantments. Shamans are squishy so they heavily rely on their HoTs to do the healing for them while they kite enemy mDPS. But if they apply 3 HoTs on a target, a KotBS can easily remove them all with ONE skill, heavily damaging the target that the Shaman wanted to heal, and on top of that at 65ft range.

Either SC should be nerfed to a 5ft range (like ALL other tanks), or change Destroy Confidence so it removes enchants but does not damage the target.

then we talk about a different shatter confidence or tooltip is wrong:

It was 65ft in Live. Have you tried using it at range in RoR? if it works then the tooltip is wrong; if it doesn't then it probably got stealth-nerfed already.

i will test it tonight :) never thought of using it at range lol

though i thought devs cant change tooltips.

Was the duration of slayers kd ever changed from 3s to 2s?
