Patch Notes 20/05/2021

That and the morale pump was all that set Blorks aside from the other 2 very capable tanks.. Those tanks now fit every role Blorks once fit better than a Blork does.. Blorks cant Ranked.. They dont fit in ST City party.. they dont fit in AOE party anymore.. then dont really have anything to bring other than a WS buff and some stat steals...

Its really Fing sad and you have no idea what its like to have your class identity stripped suddenly and given to your mirror.. OR DO YOU!????

Again i have 100s and 100s of hours played as a Blork... I am totally at a loss for what to do now...

why should bos not do ranked? they can join just like everybody else
every snb tank will get a place in city, just because there are not enough kotbs and chosens around

What does KOTBS have to do with any of this? SM will still get their place cemented in a warband because of whispering winds.


What does any of this have to do with BO being nerfed and not wanted lol......


Did I miss a patch where SM and KOTBS could play on destro?



If there is a better alternative people will pick that lol.....



You can say all the.... whatever you want but fact of the matter is Black Ork just got knocked down a few pegs on destro. Wouldn't be surprised if we just see warbands full of chosens now.



By the way..... meta stand for "most effective tactics" for a reason.

kotbs does matter because there are not enough of it, so snb ib gets taken in warband because you need tank, there are not enough kotbs and sm to make warband in most cases. same on destro, as long as ork and blackguard can hold a shield, they will be taken in warbands just because there are not enough chosens. and who knows if chosens and knight wont get toned down one day.

for the above mentioned reasons we wont see warbands with 8 chosen tanks either

of course thats balance, im a healing archmage (and a pretty bad one at best ) yet i could do any content i wanted, because if there is no healer to join, every party will take archmage before they get no pop in city, or get no dungeon run, or get no ranked sc or whatever

Well if anything you have a great attitude, I'd take that anyday lol.

Honestly... I have to give credit to the devs I guess they used a limitation if the server (currently low population which I have hope will change) in the best way possible for testing the balance and having inclusivity. Thanks for giving me some perspective.

I don't know what was discussed internally. I wasn't there. But from what the RCs who were vocal so far talked, it doesn't sound like there was much opposition. Either that or the balance team didn't really care what RCs had to say. Wargrimnir is on record for saying in the last Q&A that he doesn't agree with the BO having CDR. Now it seems his vision is reality.

Of course there wasn't much opposition. Did you see main criteria for choosing Champs in the first place? Never say anything that devs don't like. And if you do you get kicked from the team it seems.
Also from what was said here it seems number of posts on the matter is much more important then quality - if you post 100 "yes man" posts you are providing much more then 5 posts with arguments you are for/against something.

I said things I didn’t agree or concerns on certain things on draft notes. No one said you get kicked for it. People got kicked for inactivity and replaced with people that started getting involved immediately.

Devs had zero involvement in our RC posts and would just review it after a month. As they mentioned, they can choose to listen to things or not afterwards.

They can easily tell you I was honest on what’s good or bad. Some of the stuff didn’t go through after concerns and some still did.

There doesn’t need to be opposition, this isn’t a fight. We’re all balancing the same game still and it’s not like a certain RC can only talk about one realm. Both were spoken of since we had a list of focus items they wanted discussed. I gathered plenty of information and data from destro players too.

Great changes,amazing patch,its great to see finally the BO CD reducer is gone, it was added later on and was ınbalanced 2 cd reducer ın destro vs 1 ın order so it makes sense.AS a black ork player id like to add if you think the class is unplayable now i think you never played black ork at the first place.I can help people how to play black ork ıf you dm me .Thanks and have a nıce day!

Why should someone take a BO in wb play instead of a chosen? Chosen is clearly superior in everything. The CD reducer was the only reason BO were taken, in fact you would never see a non WAAGH BO in wb play - because there was no other options. Now finally BO are the least desiderable tank in wb
About Magus and Engi: you nerfed the overperforming skill (mist, napalm), now can you revert the 20% dmg nerf which was performed because of this overperfoming skill?

Yes now they should revert the 20% dmg nerf for engi/magus, because the reason for the nerf was this classes were "overperforming" in city lol... so you nerfed the overall dmg.... Magus/Engi players told the devs, it makes no sense because in citys the demons/turrets are not up for a long time anyways because they have laughable HP and die after 2 sec of aoe spamming.

So pls devs revert the 20% dmg nerf, i want my single target dmg back.
