Hey all. Is a warrior peist dps/heal melee build viable? How do I build like this if it is? What do I prioritize stats like for this?
Thank you!

Re: WP help
1. Not realy, and will never be, but we used to have some naive devs trying to fix it for the last like how long? 5 - 10 years?
2. Focus on suviviability.
3. Armor, wounds, parry, dodge/disrupt, str. This is the correct priority list.
You welcome. Reroll if it’s not too late.

Re: WP help
My main is slayer. I was just curious if this was viable because I love the aesthetic of 2h WP. Shame to hear they aren't very good.
Re: WP help
Play a dps WP (Path of Wrath) and spend some points in Grace Tree. You will have decent heals with sigmars shield and divine assault. Maybe take the 2piece Overlord(?)-Set. It will decrease the cooldown of the latter. You won't count as a real healer, though.
Real melee healing with grace tree is **** up atm.

Re: WP help
It's viable to play if that's the style you enjoy.
You're not a real DPS class, you're not a real healer, you're more tanky because of the buckler, but not quite a tank.
I suspect players that are looking for the most optimal spec aren't going to be interested in playing it. It's fun though.

Msg me (Halcite) or Rydiak ingame. We will give you some tips and feed back. Class is viable as a dps or a melee healer just depends on which you want to focus. Note that its one or the other. There is no "dps healer" so to say. It is a challenging class to play and really shines in a well suited team.
Also ignore the negative feedback. Its coming from people who have little to no exp. with the class/spec.

Re: WP help
+1 to what Halcite said. You can build for DPS or you can build for healer (melee or caster), but you can't do both post-changes, but this is good because each role has been allowed to shine brighter than it did before. Melee heals (Grace) is very challenging and requires a very high level of durability to remain alive and effective, but it brings a lot of utility and support that regular caster heals (Salvation) cannot.
Feel free to message me here or in-game if you have Grace questions.

Re: WP help
Both specs are fine if you significantly outgear/outplay your opponents. Grace is even pretty good against top premades, but Wrath is not that great against top premades (I don't think many people have actually tested it against the top 1%).
tldr; specs are fine in most* smallscale situations (*read: 12v12/18v18 scenarios where you just wanna do the most damage, or scenarios where you are up against unorganised opposition), but you will be severely tested against equally-skilled opponents.
As Warg said: one must also factor into the equation the inherent durability of the spec(s).

Re: WP help
Ok so lets do some maths... average of lets say 800-900 players... carry the 6... hmmmm... ahh yes! 1% would be roughly 8-9 players... divided by 2... yah... lets call it 4.5 players per faction.
Lols aside give the class a go! Ive beat top groups before. So has Rydiak. We play with the same players roughly and they are solid. For sure a melee wp is only as good as the team hes supporting.
Other melee work best with the class I find. Make friends with a tank and a wl/slayer and get communicating.
Also gear and renown are super important and will have a huge effect on your success as a melee wp.
