WAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!

I was really sad when WAR officially closed it's doors.
It was a really good solid game for it's time.
Now I think I'll see how well this classic holds up here at ROR.

I've been aware of private servers for sometime for various games, but have avoided them because they've often been sketchy and full of broken and questionable content. My first private server experience where I decided to give it a chance was City of Heroes Homecoming, which now has NCsoft's blessing and is an Official server set. And it's solid, if not dated.

I expect to find the same experience here, a good game with dated graphics.
We'll see how it holds up to my graphics snobbery. When it came out the graphics were good, but not quite peak for that era of gaming.

But I'm willing to smash the nostalgia button for a bit.

Welcome to ROR.
I played back when this game launched, and loved it for the Warhammer feeling since I play the table top game.
It was sad to see it go, but if you go into this private server with realistic expectations of the graphics, then it's a lot of fun.
I got back into the game about a month ago and this pvp gameplay is something that I missed vehemently.
