I was fortunate enough to discover RoR very early on. There was one time I was the only player on the server for about three hours, and I was PVEing using the only two spells that worked the way they were supposed to. I remember thinking that the game had zero future, but it was "sort of" War, so why not?
It's amazing how far the devs have come, especially considering all the crap they get. I would have walked away a long time ago. I thank them for being much stronger than I am, and for having a much higher tolerance level than I do.
Thanks for RoR Devs!

Re: Thanks for RoR Devs!
I would also like to share thanks to the Devs.
I had heard about RoR a long while ago but didn't play it until recently. I don't know how long I'll stick around(waiting for BFG:Armada and EC to come out) but it's a GREAT trip down Nostalgia Lane and is still good fun after all these years.
Keep up the good work!

Re: Thanks for RoR Devs!
On one hand: Yes, come kneel before your glorious shiny gods. With this hand I giveth new sets, and with this hand I taketh away BoE lair boss loot.
On the other hand: I would rather see people express their opinions during the process, instead of just after a major patch when the work we're doing is briefly more obvious. In other words, bug reports and change feedback (positive or negative) warm the cockles of my heart more than +1s and "Thank Yous." You know?
It's like telling the president, "I don't vote, but I think you're doing a great job." It's not that I'm ungrateful for the support, I do appreciate it, it's just that the work that we do relies more on you guys than it does on us.

Re: Thanks for RoR Devs!
Why not both? It's done quite a bit in-game through PMs and in advice chat. But how about this as an alternative?
"These devs are total noobs. We should have T4 and ToVL by now. And RR150. And new spells. Why the hell haven't they created a third faction yet? I want wings like Aion..."

Re: Thanks for RoR Devs!
I will say thank you as well! This server is awesome, and I'm having a kickass time playing.
Will report bugs and such too, just to make sure
