Thank you, it's clear now.
Btw I don't know if it is intentional or not but when I do .getstats it says that I have 0.64 heal bonus, which means that the two tactics do not aplly the same time, but one reduces your heal by 20% of the already reduced value.

Re: Disciple of khaine critical direct heals?
Well obviously its multiplicative then. Wasnt really paying attention to it, but if you have a 36% healdebuff or a 40% one doesnt really make that much difference anyway
Re: Disciple of khaine critical direct heals?
Any shot this can be revisited? There is a tactic that is 20% more effective "direct heals" for your defensive target after you critically HIT your target.
Would it be possible to make this bonus apply with transfer essence at least? I know you've talked about bridging the gaps b/w backline healbot easy mode DoK and melee DoK and I think this could increase their healing to be on par with back line healing DoK's while having all of the risk of being in the front line. Because as it stands this is one of the most worthless tactics we have. I get what they were trying to do, but making our two best melee tactics cause us to lose 40% healing effectivenss makes wonder if they even thought it through. I'm sure they wanted us to do use one of each, but lets be real no one uses this haha.
Could this at least be considered? It'd be a lot to make room for it, but I would love to as I am a huge fan of actually healing my party as a DoK and my WP

Also lifetaps were already buffed if im not mistaken. They're already ignoring any guard absorbtion and heal for the normal value. Thats enough heals for starters...

My bad man. Just want melee healers to fit the lore/meta that they were meant to.... Backline healbots take little to zero skill at alllllllllllllll. Its things like that would make the class take some serious skill to be good and really separate the good healing doks from the bad.
But thanks for the info, the only way I could see this being effective is if the 40% less healing you could could be reduced slightly to give it any place on the bar. But then we'd have more people who don't play melee healers acting like they know what they are talking about.

Re: Disciple of khaine critical direct heals?
My last point I'll make. If you think melee healers are too good (which literally NO 6 mans run with, especially not a WP, maybe a DoK but not the live guys) - you need to realize that we heal based off our damage. So the only way to increase healing without increasing their damage is by tactics like this or increasing the base heals and lowering the base damage of the life tap, rend soul.
I don't want my class to be broken like WL pounce or shattered limbs - I want to be a healer who has to work for it. Spamming aoe hot, and aoe heal and a 5 second ap heal with a cleanse when you need it is not hard. I promise you anyone can play a backline healer and be good, maybe not great, but good. In order to be a melee healer and actually heal, it is extremely difficult. I'd love to rival a backline healer in healing if I play it perfectly. I'm pretty close now in certain situations as melee HEALING is my primary objective.

The Path of Salvation focuses on divine magic, primarily healing abilities. A player who specializes in Salvation will become a much more powerful healer, although they will still need to place themselves into the front lines of a melee combat in order to build up their Righteous Fury.
