Re: What draws you to play Warhammer over other games?
I'm massive Warhammer fan especially the Chaos (I like more the Fantasy lore then the 40k series). Played all DoW series. I heard for WAR back in 2010 but then I was in high school and didn't had that much free time to play and try it. I heard that the live servers closed in 2013. Watching some WAR videos this march I saw this server and I started playing here (with some brakes ofc).

Cuz there isn't a better PVP game out there that has everything WAR has... except maybe DAoC but I never played that :/
Frankly, the fact that the game has so many layers to it is very appealing. Having the level grind be separated into four different tiers, progressively getting bigger in scale and difficulty, helping you learn as you advance in rank. Fact that the game has possible the best (that I know of) Trinity system in MMOs with all archetypes... tanks, dps, and healer being prevalent in the end game. Fact that you can play rvr in different ways (6v6, guild wbs, scenario, orvr, solo ganking/duo+)
Oh and of course... gobbos.

First and foremost: the Warhammer setting. It is an absolute favourite of mine. As is its "sister" world Fighting Fantasy (Titan).
It's what got me into the genre. In-fact I struggle to appreciate other settings as a result.
In terms of gameplay I still think that WAR was a superior MMO to others of its class. A unique combination of the Everquest PVE focused model and the Dark Age of Camelot RVR model.

Im here because I was a DAoC player for 6 years.
Of COurse I was all about Mythics next awesome adventure! I played from beta up to the level cap increase and then begrudgingly walked away from in. But I always felt regret. regret that I never finished Sov set, regret that I never once actually killed the LoTD World Boss (i wanted that staff so badly).
More Importantly, I missed the people, the friends that I made int hat game I still talk to fairly regularly. Most of them don't have much time though, me personally I make time ;p
I am here for the Social, I am here for the Open RvR fun, and Competitive 6 mans if I can get back into one.
Also, I loved this game for both its PvE and PvP, and personally cannot wait for some Dungeons to come out.

Gaming feels that WAR gives is unique. It has good wvw, nice atmosphere and lore, pleasant to eye models and animations, extremely good community (if somebody say "nope" i`ll advice you to look at LoL community, which is literally a trashcan.). That`s why i love and play WAR.

Hi guys,
I play for the following features/gameplay:
-PvP centric game, PvE is far second
-Multiple ways to PvP (Scenario, RvR, Roaming / grief)
-Diversity of talent trees
-The grinding is not ridiculous but enough to give a certain sense of accomplishment
-The community is diverse but as the same goal, PvP, from roleplayers to elitists
-Several dynamic unique features (at least at the time); PQ system, in T4 the 3 zone lock to capture an area, map differences creating special unique environments to exploit to gain advantages
Simply nothing like it, outweighs any bugs in my opinion.

Re: What draws you to play Warhammer over other games?
I left DAoC in '09 for the military and after coming back I wanted to get back into gaming. Tried WoW, tried Rift, tried many others but I always missed the mechanical feel of Mythic. I resubb'd to DAoC but the game had changed so much from what I was used to, it just wasn't the same.. even though all the same old bugs were omnipresent after 15 freakin years.
Then I remembered WAR, looked it up, and found the private server. I'm thankful it's still around because I really enjoy the unique Race/Class structure, the artwork is reminiscent of DAoC with a little (too much if it were up to me but I'm more of a historian than fantasy gamer) fantasy architecture and lore.
Who doesn't want to see a match between a Troll Warrior and a Black Orc?
It would be nice to have a stable server for about a month or so. Pretty please?
