there's tons of equipment that could be used across like-classes, for example chosen and marauder, shaman and squig etc that wouldn't break lore or confuse anyone as to what class another person is playing. Torque has though promised in the future we'll have more access to appearance gear than ever was available on live, so for the time being we'll have to remain with our minds in the closet until cross dressing is fully enabled and accepted in the server.
