System video card fails minimum specs -- warhammer will now terminate

Hi folks,

I have had this error as well, and while fixing it, vame across the following little piece of information.
After I tried reinstalling all drivers, as well as the needed DirectX-versions, I was still unable to play due to this error still persisting
I then had a look in the "Turn WIndows features on or off"-section.
I found out there that the "Legacy Components > DirectPlay"-feature needs to be enable for DirectX to work properly.

Interesting input. This is normally enabled by default, but I have heard some people with Windows 10 have this disabled by default. No idea why this happens.

I am having this issue as well, just tried to install the game yesterday, this is what I did.

Installed the Game did the installer not the Torrent.
Installed the DX9 patch.
Enabled Direct Play Under Windows Components
Booted to Safemode, uninstalled my nvidia drivers using the removal tool.
Booted to normal mode, installed nvidia drivers fresh.

***Also as a note, I cannot find the game in my programs list to uninstall it, I tried reinstalling but just ran the installer again without uninstalling first.****

Game continues to error with the video card minimum system specs message, here is my hardware and windows info from dxdiag.

I was able to get it to work, did the same steps but ran the Windows 10 DirectX installer as administrator. Not sure if that made a difference but it was the only step I did different from the other 10 times trying to get it to work.

Same. Minor differences:
I know this is late after this post was originally created but it only just now happened to me.
I had this issue as well. For me it was just after an nVidia driver update. Immediately after the update I had no issues but the next day I could not launch the game from the launcher and was getting the same error window.
All I did was restart my PC to engage the new drivers for the video card.
