Try hotspot shield it worked for me

HOTSPOT SHIELD fuc.ked my laptop really hard. The network driver broke down because of it.

Tell me how it goes after you try with the torrent files. I'm really puzzled why nothing worked...the audio was because I deleted the user folder which reseted your settings (you had audio off prior I suppose)
