Is your launcher in the same folder like the WAR.exe and not in a special folder?

Run launcher as Administrator, make sure the folder isn't set to "read only".

This can be done by right clicking the game folder > properties > uncheck "Read Only" > OK.

I got the same when i tried the new launcher so went back to the old one , works w/o any flaws.

well when the server is down you cant really do much just be patient the server will be up when its up jeez so many forums about the down
