i have the same problem and tried everything above but i still get the same error. Whenever i select read only and click ok , if i open properties immidiatly after that read only is still enabled. Pls help me.

Seems it's windows 7 whos a bitch, when I untick the readonly buttom it jumps right back, now of course I searched the internet for a solutions and that sadly did not solve my problem but if anyone else is having this problem heres a possible fix: http://www.sevenforums.com/system-secur ... sable.html

I have the same issue, I've run as admin and done all the read only **** and it's still not working.
