Why SH complaining about AA dame. On paper SH has insane tools. Pounce like WL, Shatterred limbs like Slayer, Inevitable doom like slayer with corporal dmg(Really bad gas), Self heal chain like Choppa or Slayer, Self punt+snare like SW, Best charge in game 75% speed ignoring body blocking which also interrupt for its duration, melee KD, snare, disarm, interrupt. Yes, some of these abbilites has higher CD than theyr original owners, but that doesnt change fact that melee SH is great for party AND warband gameplay. On other hand melee SWs and SWs in general are in really bad position in term of warband usefullnes so please, dont take them as shield for arguing about they have X and I want it too....

Where is that written?

Ok. But SW have 65% AA dmg burst and 33 AA hast for free.
I’d gladly change TA to AA damage handbag AA haste . I don’t like that it makes the horned squig useless .
Please, lets do it and make pet's great again! :D

In all seriousness, if TA is meant to promote WB play, it can make the AA + hast proc inefective while it is slotted. That way people could chose between pet and burst or AOE damage increase. I will think of a proposal :3 (I am still thinking of a few of these for mSH to send out)
Personal opinion here , I don’t think giving horned squig amor buff + ABM damage boost + pounce spam in 1 tactic without have to use the pet anymore is balanced for a Pet career .

It says attacks though, so i dont know where you are coming from.

SW one is a good exemple , it mention AA damage increase not abilities
I dont think you understood him either, he is complaining that the sw stance gives those things and wants them for the SH too.
I know what he means , just trying to explain that AA damage stat and melee damage stat are 2 different stats , unless the tooltip mention AA damage , it’s usually not increased

When the old zealot AP ritual said attacks, it would proc off abilities and AAs. TA says attacks, so it should increase all melee attacks, AAs and abilities.

As you said, on paper.... reality is: squig leap does work like pounce, indigestion does work like shatter limbs, RBG does NOT compare to ID it has 1/4 of the CD and it hits one more time, NO good choppa/SL would take self heal (i would rather get an armor pen buff and drop the self heal which is really bad for group play), charge ability is NOT reliable... it bugs out a lot (any terrain elevation, jumps, etc will break it as it is a channel) plus it is 15p ability I would drop it in exchange for something for wb play. mSH DON'T get interrupt while ln SA. Longer CD means mSH has a lot of downtime on AOE spec (2 skills at 20sec CD 1 at 8secs)

Imho, SA should give the armor buff instead of horned squig and give it a different buff (like melee AA damage as op was asking *wink*wink*). It would make mSH survivability less dependent on 1 pet (opening options)

Just put MSH on par with WL single target effectiveness, i'm sure order won't mind.

Only the principle of mdps vs rdps as primary role.

Staying on topic- the author is right that two tactics to increase 25% and 15% damage will not affect autoattacks. Looks like they should!

also bigger disadvantage of melee SH autoattacks is that he is onehander dps.

Globaling everything but SnB tanks from 65ft doesnt sound much like mdps, so it would actualy fit SH better as of role principles.

i have both classes over rr 60 and good geared, and trust me, my WL never did as high crits as my Melee squig does. I dont see any issue on the melee squig atm. Tbh the dmg is SUPER good. Highest crit so far is 1.8k. Normally crit is like 1.1 to 1.3k. Depends on target ofc. Overall the dmg is just super good. I can pretty much kill most sw's, bw's, engi's, wh's and you name it in 1 KD (3 seconds) ofc it depends on player and build they run.

Oh. and i run with no pet ofc.
