I have to agree here, I cant see this spec beeing at all viable. I would recommend waiting until RR70 to grab fury of da green.Kobra wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 1:43 pmNo offense but that build is pretty bad.Sinisterror wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 9:09 am Shaman is much more fun but harder to play and heal super good than zealot, but shaman has 24 seconds life steal dot, 80 feet range aoe dps/aoe heal 5 sec cooldown, and il take that. You can use heal on all these skills for out of los players because they are dps first heal second. Enemy addon must have, i would go with shaman for fun. ive loved shammy always one of the funnest class to play. Zealot and dok healing is boring.
RoR.builders - Shaman
There is good heal spec for rank 40 rr40. Get your chance to be crit to 0 / iniative to 230+ etc. Aways use wounds or armour talismans, heal, ap,armour and 20%health rege 10% less crit dmg potion when you are lvl 40. Its very good survivability with aoe detaunt tactic.
For one, Discipline has been shown to outperform ESM in some cases, leaving that off the bar is going to drag down healing quite a lot. (search forum for test) Ignoring Do Sumfin Useful is going to be a big problem. Especially with the WL/SM/SW meta-blast going on right now. That extra hot rolling on you with toughness boost is going to make a lot of difference. Also Do Sumfin ticks much faster than your other hots, making it the first one you should cast on yourself before/during any encounter.
In bigger fights, Restorative Burst combined with Discipline and ESM, and when used with Focused Mind and Gather Round is going to put out massive heals every 60 seconds that can change the tide of battle, and bump you up significantly on the healing charts. Toss out Yer Not So Bad, and you can literally spam gather round at a super high rate of speed in situations where it founds. (especially cities). The final tactics should be swapped out between Dat Makes me Dizzy (city) and Wazzat depending on circumstances. Double morale pump isn't all that useful anymore due to the morale dump nerf and SW morale soaking spam....
Just my opinion.
These builds and small guide are all very viable: viewtopic.php?t=32039
In reference to addons, I use the healer modified version of Enemy with the traffic lights and it works great for me: https://returnofreckoning.com/forum/vie ... 66&t=24648
Lights are green (1 2 or 3 dots) - hes right next to me for aoe heals
Yellow (1 2 0r 3 dots) - mid range
And red obviously far away.
You dont need to go randomly clicking on everyone to see who greys out
Also, for 6 to 12 man groups I use the enemy colour markers coded for:
- green: my tanks (i put on the 2 main tanks to get a visiual of where my frontline is) - sometimes i mark other group tanks as well
- blue: other healer I will mark on my group
- pink: dps in my group
- white: leader and person to follow when moving.
This plus buffhead for buff timers seem to work fine with me.
PD: If you play shaman, YES you need to combine your direct heals, dots, aoe heal with the path of da green damage heals if you want to pump out competitive heals and be in line with Dok and Zealot. I didn´t realize this until endgame and was about to quit char thinking shamans healers were far below the other 2 classes. The moment I added both "ill take that" and "bleed for me" in my rotation (whilte having a mdps selected), boosted my numbers up exponentially.
Ive played all 3 healer classes to a mid tier lvl and shaman definetly seems to be more of a challange to keep up with other healer classes, requiring usage of more skills but I think thats what most of us who pick shaman are looking for, a challenging class to play well that also has much better survivability when under attack (not saying that the other 2 are no-skill smash 1 button classes either).
C u out there.
