Pray that Games Workshop will not want to leave out the Warhammer universe as we know it.

In fact, I sincerely hope they will do something like : "You have seen what happens when the Chaos wins ? Then you move, bands wimps ! We must prevent that !"

En fait, j'espère sincèrement qu'ils vont faire un truc du genre : "Vous avez vu ce qui ce passe quand le Chaos gagne ? Alors bougez-vous, bandes de mauviettes ! Il faut empêcher ça !"

I'm quite torn actually. I haven't had a chance to read everything yet, but from the summaries and rumours that I have read I don't know what to think.

The stories themselves were great. But I'm worried about what this means for the world itself. Not sure why they couldn't just progress it a little bit without destroying the world itself.

This idea of "warp bubbles" seems rather silly... why did they even need to justify why some armies on the other side of the world still clash?

They never justify how the same heroes continue to die each battle? Eg: If MY Karl Franz dies.... that doesn't stop me using him again next battle or other players using him. We see the same thing in Reckoning when the world "resets" itself each time we sack a city.

I read some books and I noticed one thing : where is Sotek, damn ?

Sotek is a god of the Lizardmen who returned to the world and devoured thousands of Skaven within hours, breaking one of their largest army. Then he disappeared into the underground of the Old World and chases the Horned Rat and his brood. In the End Times, the confrontation between the two gods is inevitable.

...

And then ? Games Workshop just forgot this detail ! I love the Lizardmen, and I find irritating this shortcut of the End Times !

Certainly Sotek have permitted the Lizardmen to triumph, and Chaos (So cooool, dark and gothic etc... Sigh.) could not win, but who cares ! When writing for over ten years on a powerful serpent-god who will eat the rat-god is done into action, we do not let him out !

I do not know you, but I'm a little disappointed...

J'ai relu quelques livres et j'ai remarqué une chose : où est Sotek, nom d'un chien ?

Sotek est un dieu des Hommes-Lézards qui est revenu sur le monde et a dévoré des milliers de Skavens en quelques heures, brisant l'une de leur plus grande armée. Ensuite, il a disparu dans les souterrains du Vieux Monde et poursuit le Rat Cornu et son engeance. À la Fin des Temps, l'affrontement entre les deux dieux est inévitable.

...

Et alors ? Games Workshop a tout simplement oublié ce détail ! J'adore les Hommes-Lézards, et je trouve ce raccourci de la Fin des Temps assez énervant !

Certes, Sotek aurait permit aux Hommes-Lézards de triompher, et le Chaos (Si cooool, sombre et gothique etc... Sigh.) n'aurait pas pu gagner, mais on s'en moque ! Quand on écrit pendant plus de dix ans sur un puissant dieu-serpent qui va bouffer le dieu-rat on le fait entrer en action, on ne le laisse pas de côté !

Je ne sais pas vous, mais moi je suis un peu déçu...

If it goes all never ending story with Sigmar wishing up a new world. Then seriously dumb.

That after 20 years of fail where even getting to kislev was a big ask Archaon suddenly has mega plot armor. Even dumber.

what exactly are the "warp bubbles"? is it the whole comic book style multiple univere thing? If so i agree...basically gw's way of creating a get out of jail free card if their ending to WFB seems super retarded and angers fans also looking forward to your 666th post telen

Yeah looks like they are going with the multiverse with Karl Franz/Sigmars avatar leading crusades through time in the warp as he tries to never ending story up a new world. I guess we'll see as its chaos vs light in the 9th box set. Pretty much turning Empire/Dwarves into Grey Knights. So everyone can fight anyone and people can still use all their old models in a skirmish style game.

Im interested to see if they will have the proper full old world battles along side this though. Otherwise without the old world lore collectors are going to get bored of the ip. I wonder if we'll see Teclis pop back up with Sigmar after fetching him from the past so everyone can go time travelling trying to change the battles from the past that are trapped in warp bubbles. Then they could do limited editions of old characters.

I watch a lot of forums, and I have rarely seen so unmotivated players of the Community... Games Workshop is playing a dangerous game ! The next update to better be good !

It's very right ! We just hear some of it in the first book (A Waaagh ! is preparing...) and then nothing. Damn, Games Workshop spleen of big stuff like houses !

Je regarde pas mal de forum, et j'ai rarement vu les joueurs de la Communauté aussi démotivés... Games Workshop joue un jeu dangereux ! La prochaine mise à jour à intérêt à être bonne !

C'est très vrai ! On entends juste parler un peu de lui dans le premier livre (Une Waaagh ! se prépare...) et puis plus rien. Bon sang, Games Workshop rate des trucs gros comme des maisons !

i dont know if you know but you can sign up for the beta !
and sry that I just Crash into the threat.
I follow End times via Steam and get every Change log and for me ist Looks really good kinda like Hellraid... gameplay is kinda the same but you cant customize your char... but still Looks really good.


PS: This year Comes a lot of Warhammer tiles out for mobile/pc or consoles.
