I think the only real imbalance is that Order runs all the organized warbands now and a year ago when i started playing ror it was the opposite and Destro ran all the organized warbands.

Makes sense since order classes have been way overtuned and destro is lacking severely. I can't blame them for wanting to be on the winning side.

It's pretty obvious that the OP is bias towards Desto, saying " because of continued lack of equity in the basic mechanics of the game" he believes fundamentally Destro are at a disadvantage at the basic level, despite them generally dominating RVR and City most days. If you want a "Real Conversation" you shouldn't start off with such bias and speak to people who play both sides about balance.

There is this general perception with many Des players that they only get nerfs and Order buffs from the Devs, which is what is denting their morale, ignoring the fact that the main complained about issue over the last year the White Lion has been nerfed in a succession of patches to a place where people barely moan about it any more, rather the Devs have done quite a good job at toning it down without gimping it completely. Mara also now isn't the monster it was but also still in a good place. Seems like they are doing quite a good job at balancing. They are taking longer at the RSH changes than they probably expected but after the way the SW changes went I am not surprised.

When I first started playing Destro won 9 out of 10 forts and won 75% of all City instances, that isn't balanced. Right now it is far more balanced than it has ever been since I started playing, but i'm sure some players prefer the way it used to be. Now its not a walkover for either side in most cases, especially in EU prime time.

While the order pugs are more organized than the destro pugs, I wouldn't really say that the people who spam the addon and run boxes until they can siege, organized.

It would be interesting to see the latest stats on City wins, last one I saw was almost equal I think Des won 11 v 10 , which is a much healthier rate than it was before, but I wouldn't consider any City with only 7 instances and indication of anything as it is the lowest number I have ever seen so must have been the middle of the night.

there are more warband guilds on order than destro and it just so happens that forts and keeps are still incredibly defender biased, who knew.

This data is all prior to the changes (August was the date given by OP) that were implemented that caused the downward spiral for destro. This isn't bringing anything to the conversation.
