You keep saying matchmaking like this is league of legends or something.

There is no matchmaking.

There is a queue system. You get in line, whatever happens happens.

It is not designed for matchmaking in the sense that you get fair and balanced matches.

It is not broken.

That right there shows that its not working as designed at least part of the time.
You would not get 1 person skipped over pop after pop sitting in queue as others get pops.
Being 5 would not be slower than queueing as 4. But it is common knowledge that queueing as 5 will be slow pops.

Just a bit ago I stood there queued as other solos got multiple pops.
And as I type this we are queued as 5 and being passed over on pops.

If the basics arent working correctly you have no idea on the rest.

It is not broken.
its called a match maker. its builds matches... it may not do it in any set manner. but it builds the matches. this is a standard game term for the code to do this.

The second function of the matchmaking is what fills existing scenarios every 30 seconds. It pulls from the solo pool for that as it's highly unlikely to grab a 5-man group alongside another 5-man group. It will attempt to fill existing scenarios that are not full.

i have a suggestion. turn off scenario queue for all new players. they should learn game from rvr anyway, they can only get rekt in scs.

p.s. not even trolling. at least remove it for players r40 and below rr60 if they're dps. they have nothing to do in t4 sc and no good premade would ever accept them, and you know it. so telling these poor people "make a premade" is a bad joke. they can make premade with each other, and get rekt again against that same premade, same as if they had solo queued.

you realize that this statement is wrong in so many ways, the queue system does not take into account if you play dps, tank or healer so there's no balancing system in work for what you get vs what you face. the only reason order in your case had a better balanced team was probably because they either party up and create a group with x amount of each roll or order at that time just had more healers in queue for scenarios in your tier. no healers in queue no healers in the scenario.. and if there's 2 healers queing on destro side and there's 2 scenario instances up there's a good chance they get placed in the same scenario since the system does not take into account what roll you play

Not everyone wants to be in a premade with teenagers screaming in discord. I'm here for the fun. my life is too short to listen to that kind of crap. But yeah, it's frustrating to play vs a premade most of the time. I'm also solo/duo 100% of the time. But nothing to do about it.

And yet there is common knowledge that if you queue as healer or tank your chance to get a pop is higher then queuing with dps.
