BiS for dps Shaman?

3OSov/3Warlord/3Victorious is BIS, same as DPS AM. You can reference my guide below if you like.

7/2 has merit for the extra crit, especially because dot applications count as hits and the crit proc is bugged and stacking with other synergies right now. However, it's squishy and has way less stats overall.

Have you done any testing on this, by chance? I have the numbers for sov/vict mix vs. war/vict mix (war/vict mix wins btw*) but I don’t believe I have the gear to test a 3/3/3 mix. Just don’t see how it would be better than 6% (2 or 3% in reality) mag crit (sov/vict) or 99 mag power (war/vict). Thoughts?

I have also been wondering, since the changes to strike through, if a crit build would now outperform a magic power build due to the increased number of disrupts. Curious to see your thoughts on that as well.

Haven't tested in awhile but nothing has changed to warrant a new test afaik. Crit vs Magic Power doesn't really change due to the strikethru changes, you'll get disrupted the same amount if you invest in one stat vs the other, only Strikethrough on gear and Int is going to change that. 3/3/3 just had the highest combination of stats and every single piece had powerful substats such as Magic Power, AP or Crit.

3/3/3 is a horrible advice , im not even sure if u played dps shaman/am before , u lose 6% distr strikethrou , crit/mp from sov or warlord gear and debuff from 4pc vic set . i would never recommend it

Now that that is out of the way. I feel that 3/3/3 is actually very solid advice. Yeah may miss this trick or that, but as previously stated gives the best stats (3 intel, and 3 wounds bonuses - vs 2 intel plus other), and allows for a decent pick of bonuses. When you are solo you need to be able to live through that knockdown.
