I mean a RvR set would have more impact than renown tbh so I get that wipe.

"With the recent hotfix, all Soldier's Medallions and Devastator gear has been removed from the server, and keep takes will no longer drop Medallions. Until a solution for the current issue is found, this will remain the case.

I have noticed that this has caused severe dissatisfaction on the Destruction faction. Let me outline the reasons for the wipe:

1) I was greeted today by the ticker showing a faction ratio of 70% Destruction to 30% Order, and some are saying that it was even worse than that at times. We have not had such a massive faction imbalance for a prolonged period of time in this server's history.
2) It became clear that, knowing that this situation was abnormal and a chance to acquire easy medallions, players had been farming keeps for hours on end.
3) We will, as we have in the past (see the early T2 purple gear wipe) correct for our mistakes in order to prevent severe faction imbalance. The turnaround time for this wipe has been much less than 24 hours from the time at which Soldier's Medallions were implemented, and yet we were already seeing players equipped with 3 pieces of Devastator. Common sense is to be used when dealing with situations like this."

Still a pretty good estimate. Both factions probably have about the same % of afkers, PvEers, and people playing SCs (Aka NOT ORvR).
