Re: Decrease in Population?

Just wanted to post here that many should remember that there is always new "old" players joining the fight and they grind when they can towards T4. One thing what I like is that when you get to T4, you don't need to have to fight straight against warlord or better gear, which in live made new players quit even faster when they hit T4 and could do nothing against players who were totally over geared compared to them. Was even more stupid after they released all the rr80+ sets/weapons :)

Me and and my old friends from the game slowly starting to get to T4. Will see if we get to fight against anybody in 6v6 scene which we liked most in the game.

ps. Old character information.

Karak Norn - Kiraliel AM RR100 / Thamor SM RR90+
Guild - Fallen Legion

RoR Server Destruction - Fallen Legion
Kiralie - Sorcerer / Thamoryl - Black Guard

pss. Have fun, when you don't have fun anymore for this nostalgic one of the best mmo games made. Stop playing :)

The other day I made a +30 hour RvR marathon. It all culminated in that most epic of keep defenses in KV. It wasn't planned, it was just the sort of thing that seemed right at the time. The lads were eager, morale was high; it felt like a real resistance, given the ruthlessness of our local enemies around these parts. Some of the lads told me they'd never forget this particular battle. This is what it's all about :D We play War Games man.
Spoiler:
Two days later we're at it again; guild event night all around, big clashes.
Spoiler:
Are you not entertained?! I'm having the best time of my life, and for this I love you all! Long live RoR indeed!

Is that how the ordies call zerging nowadays? I suppose you call fighting on equal terms "Torture" and being zerged "A fate worse than death".
Fighting, huh? More like waiting, manoeuvres, waiting again, chasing Teefz a bit and then facing destro condescend to come to keep def from scens and pve.

Enjoy your equal terms.
Means determine end.

Sure it would help a lot. But few months ago we had much worse UI and we manage to survive.
I am patiently waiting for new client. Keep a good job :)

The ui already does this and always did, the active map with fighting has crossed swords on it and any keep that is under attack shows as lit up and maybe in the future if guild claiming gets figured out, the ui is the same as it was on live and ppl managed just fine.
Multiple zones being open promotes coordination and builds relations between players, the average random player can be important for the war effort, they dont have to be 1 of 100 players blobbed in a single area in a single zone, they can scout other zones and find which zone the other realm is working on.
It worked on live i dont see why it cant work here, atleast try it, ppl log off when its only a single blob running from point to point in rvr.

Lier!! Have you read this post? There are just 2 guilds (??) in order side for a good rvr(????) .Stop(??).Then, 80% order players are xrealms,20% play always with zerg(???). Don't talk about our secret mobilephone app ''zerger time!!!''(???)
There are a lot of screenshots/videos that shows you Arthur and me in small close group (10-12 players) fight vs 18-20 destro players.(ehy have you seen them on the forum??)no!Cuz they are all photomontages!!We never win a fight with aao%!!(??)
Sometimes there is an order toon, Avocado (yeye in destro chat he is Avocado),but he can't do nothing vs epic destro strategy

Seriously, most of the these comments are unfair. But funny!

First, why complain about being in one zone when the community as a whole made that happen by refusing to fight? Some people are short of memory. The one zone battle was implanted due to people refusing to actually fight and prefered to take empty keeps instead.

Second, the constant talk about who zergs and who doesn't is mindblowing. There are no exceptions as -everyone- does it, or is forced to do so to compete. On the Kadrin Valley battle last week: At first BT is out with our regular two groups. We meet other groups of different sizes. Some bigger like Nazgul, others smaller. Great fights all around. And then it suddenly is 'event night' where we get overrun by a 3 warbands zerging us down. Fine. We mob up too and form a zerg to counter the zerg. On other days it is the way around and Order becomes the zerg. It happens.

I agree to an extent, the mentality of some ppl to avoid pvp to gear/level up is really bad however given the changes to how rvr and the rewards work u get jack **** from taking an empty zone and its not as easy as get a ram - take keep like it has been, you have to work the zone by escorting resources so you will never get an instant keep siege, you should always have time to react to a zone that the enemy is pushing.

About zerg comments, this is exactly the problem and proves the current rvr system does nothing to split the zerg, u end up with 1 super blob on each side with nobody willing to splt up in fear of being ran over at odds of 10+ - 1.
