I dont really see the logic of the slayer changes, if the aim was to make 2h better. I understand there may be more coming, but the change to rampage just reduces DW overall damage ST and AoE.
Maybe Slayer damage needs to be nerfed. I just dont feel like the change is in line with the stated goal. It's one of those changes where one spec is better than the other, so to make the other spec look better they nerf the better spec.
Which is fine, I just think it should be called what it is. A nerf to an overperforming spec instead of trying to disguise is a buff to a different spec.
The caveat being I have no idea what retribution will be like now. It could up being enough of an AoE buff that it will make up for the AoE nerf to DW from losing rampage. So it will be close to a wash for AoE DW damage. If that's the case then the change WOULD be in line with the stated goal. Even though 2h slayer didnt actually get any better.

Damn i admit you got me fooled here nicely. Even bothered to go to that Feedback section of the Balance forum to try help with balancing clearly overperforming skill. Just to find wp topic that is closedAzarael wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 3:50 pm I'm deliberately ignoring you because you're spamming it in every topic. I figured you'd notice eventually.
Anyway, the answer is that if you want something looked at, bring it up in the Feedback section of the Balance Forum. That's what it's there for. If you specifically ask me a leading question about what I'm going to do, don't be surprised if when I read it, I decide I'd rather not reply to it at that point (and then subsequently forget it was asked.)

So i went to Proposals, just to find out almost no topic was dignified with staff answer while some of them were open so long ago as in February.
Kinda puts me in funny spot when you wont respond to "leading question" here, but nobody will even bother to look at them there

You can create threads in that forum, right? The WP/DoK thread was on their experimental mode, which is why it was locked.

Re: Client Changelog 04/08/2018
Huge patch (thinking client+server). Really like the dot fixes for detaunt.
Comments on AP - I thought AP was working perfectly (before patch). It was first time in RoR history where I actually considered getting some AP pots to carry on my players.
Previously I don't stock any AP potions as they weren't needed (except after using Flee).
I think I love everything here except the
-creation of new tactics which seems not needed in my view due. especially when also nerfing Deft Defender at the same time
I think there is a lot of combat changes all at once, too many at once IMHO.
