There isn't any 64 bits version of the war.exe, even if in the folder there's a WAR64.exe but its just an incorrect name that was given to the "under development client".
You can select dxmt or metal but its not using that path, eventually it triggers wined3d, there isn't any other solution working atm, if you opt to put my d3d9 just let "wine" in that box.
Regarding the map, sadly, I didn't find yet a solution.
I honestly thought the map issue was just on my end. I even tried disabling all my add-ons to check, but there's absolutely no difference with or without them.
