Stop this keep trading please
Re: Stop this keep trading please
Yes that's true but its better than nothing. Dps tanks aren't that much of a problem. They still have cc and guard and for the most part aren't as bad for a group as a dps helaer

They are as bad, since some are incredibly squishy and dont even have detaunt. They wont be guarding anyone as well.Tklees wrote:Yes that's true but its better than nothing. Yes it is better than nothing, i agree on that.

Did you even read Az's post? Nothing will incentivize casuals to form a premade. It's time consuming, requires commitment, etc...Penril wrote:
Therefore i would suggest that premade vs premade SCs have much better rewards than pug vs pug. Maybe quad emblem reward, triple xp, double renown, etc.
This might actually be incentive enough for casuals to try and form a premade.
The reward for ranked/group scenarios would be climbing the MMR ladder or beating another group straight up, something that should mean more than anything to hardcore players. Competitive play isn't about grinding for xp and rr, though that might be a foreign concept in this game.
I believe Az was talking about the problem of DPS healer and tanks in a "Role Queue" and there seems to be ways to solve that. Regardless this game need to move forward in terms of creating a more balanced and competitive SC environment even if that solution isn't perfect it will be much better than what we have now.

Rewards MUST be better for premade vs premade SCs for one simple reason: the Q times WILL BE LONGER.Jaycub wrote:Did you even read Az's post? Nothing will incentivize casuals to form a premade. It's time consuming, requires commitment, etc...Penril wrote:

Pug vs pug will be getting 5 SC pops in the time Premades get 1 or 2. Therefore they will have way more emblems for SC weapons. It is simply not fair to punish premades like this.
This game has a lot of hardcore AND casual players who like to play in groups.
Re: Stop this keep trading please
You have a terrible misconception that "hardcore" players play 18 hours a day. I premade but barely play 1 hour on weekdays. Play mostly on weekends. So yeah, when i do SCs i expect to gain a reward if i win. In this case, emblems so i can buy my SC weapon. Your suggestion would result in premades not having any SC weapon, while pugs have an easy time getting theirs with:Jaycub wrote: The reward for ranked/group scenarios would be climbing the MMR ladder or beating another group straight up, something that should mean more than anything to hardcore players. - More SC pops
- Actually gaining emblems
- Easier wins because they are no longer fighting any kind of coordinated group
Terrible suggestion.
Re: Stop this keep trading please
That's fine, I never was against extra rewards. I don't think anyone is going to be against extra emblems to make up for the higher queue times and stress involved in ranked play.Penril wrote:You have a terrible misconception that "harcore" players play 18 hours a day. Just thought it a bit funny you ended up scrambling for increased rewards for a hypothetical ranked que as soon as Az made his post. The entire discussion turned on a dime.
Also its not a suggestion, you should slow down and take your time reading some of these posts lol. And "pugs having an easier time because they will be fighting less coordinated groups"... you realize that both parties in this case are uncoordinated right?

Re: Stop this keep trading please
Wanting rewards in SC sicks me its a **** REALM VS REALM GAME
Re: Stop this keep trading please
ORvR has little meaning until T4 as far as a campaign and what not are concerned. T1-3 seems to be built like a tutorial. And even then in T4 with a lack of 4 out of 6 of the capital cities the campaign lost its meaning as soon as they made city EZ mode.Forbiddian wrote:Wanting rewards in SC sicks me its a **** REALM VS REALM GAME
Either way, ORvR is hardly competitive in comparison to scenarios, not to say it means less.
The amount of QQ in order /advice atm about "keep trading" is absolutely insane, and I'm almost convinced its a ruse.

Re: Stop this keep trading please
I suggested this several pages ago. I point it out again because unfortunately it appears Aza agrees with you and since he is a dev, we might be so unlucky that he actually implements separate Q's. Which would hurt players who want to group up (there are a lot of us as well).Jaycub wrote:
