Client download issues and troubleshooting

Hi, I am having issues starting the game.

- I downloaded via torrent
- Did not see anything to extract after that (I assume I don't need to since I did the torrent method)
- Downloaded 9.0c
- Downloaded RORLauncher and put it into my main RoR folder
- Tried to log in using the launcher

When I tried to log in, the game shoots to full screen, shows the couple of ads, then as soon as it gets to the screen with 4 buttons on the bottom, it just closes immediately. In order to replicate these results I have to completely close the launcher, reopen, and log in once again.

I went through about the first 30 pages looking for a solution, but the closest I got was to delete my data folder and switch the main folder out of "read-only" which is what got me to this point. Before I did that I got no feedback at all from pressing "Connect" on the login window except a black screen and then an error message that I couldn't copy the text from.

I also went in to look for error messages, but the only logs that had any data in them were my login[date] documents.

Hello! im waiting for the client to download and in the meanwhile im trying to install the directX but this error shows up. Any idea?

Also, I launched the game from your launcher and when i try to log in i get this error

Have you done what that error message tells you to do?

i cant seem to find these files plus i get the error i posted above when trying to log in

i tried to disable my antivirus before installing directX again (works sometimes with this error) but still i get the error :/

ok i got the DirectX installed but i still get this when i try to log in

then a window pops up asking me to run war.exe and i get this

I make sure everytime to uncheck the read-only property and i run the launcher as administator.. any ideas?

Run this Performance Rebuilder and let me know if it fixes it.

Run the performance rebuilder, pressed login and the window popped up asking me to run war.exe
Is your server called Square of Martyrs?

Yes it is. Use only the RoR launcher to log in and play and it should work.

so the window popping after i press the login button is normal then? if i press yes it loads the game but if i press no it shows me an error
