in regards to nerfs and balance discussion it has been said a million times at this point that nothing is going to be changed until t4 and the only way a change will be put through is if posts follow the balance forum format found here:bwdaWAR wrote:Koryu199X wrote:If it's not going to have the z-axis changed please at least implement a cool down of 20 seconds and make it more tactical in its use and application at some point down the line. Part of the enjoyment should be tactical thinking and strategy. In addition it should not be useable in mid air that never made sense in live and it doesn't now.Lately I have been wondering, in regards to frequent demands such as the CD on Pounce or nerf to various (usually strong when solo) classes, how things would be ingame or on the forum if every post demanding nerfs to a class they don't play at all were deleted before posting. From players who have no clue what the class and ability they talk about is like, only know what it's like to be killed by it (which may be for infinite other reasons such as rank/gear difference or, oh my, mistakes made by them.)Razid1987 wrote:You might not know this, if you haven't used it yourself, but you always land about 10-15 ft behind the target if it's moving. As in, you're not in melee range, so you actually have to Pounce again, go get in range. Hence, why you many times see people use it more than once. Granted, many people just spam the **** out of it, because trolololol, but that's just to piss people off. If you want a cd on Pounce, it would only be fair if it adds an about 2 sec root on cast or so, just like the Warrior's Charge in WoW.
Pounce spam is ridiculous, sure. But the ability does not perform its function as it is (ie put you in melee range of your target). Make Pounce do what it's supposed to be doing, and I'm sure 99% of WL players will gladly take even a 30s cooldown on it.
