Before the server crashed we (destro) took down the lord in Praag pretty easy thanks to the "rework!?" from today.

I have to say that we outnumbered Order quit a bit but still it was way more enjoyable than yesterday.

We had 2 (3?) WB's in the keep while one only guarded the bottom floor so they didnt hit the lord at all. Two other WB's were trying to defend the BO's, so that order could only get 2 at a time at all.

The lord got raced down pretty hard and it felt way better now instead off tank&spank for 30min.

Idk how it will work out if one side wont outnumber the other that hard but I guess we'll see what happens the next days

I know that's a hyperbole, so let me reply with another: the day this server will allow people to get BiS equipment through PvE only and/or PvE cockblocks, it will be a dead server. You can put A LOT effort while doing RvR too, so why complicate PvPers' life? Also, on live you could get PvE wards with good PvP equipment, so you didn't have to run all the old and low level instances with a rr60+ character on and on. Gunbad is NOT run by puggers today, do you think that it will be run more in the future, when it will be even older and more useless?

I hope you guys won't steer from the core idea of Warhammer, which is RvR, cause I am pretty sure that the majority of people feel this way.

You speak for yourself and no one else, your now ranting opinion has been made several times over, repeating what YOU want will have no bearing on the decisions of the team. Stay out of these patch notes from this point.

I agree with Kryss. I like to rvr that's why I loved DoAC until toa, WAR until lotd and now RoR. If I wanted to grind gear doing repetitive mind numbing raids and such I'd still be playing LoTR.

I do really appreciate the effort and time the dev team puts into this game and I am having a blast RvR'ing with some pve thrown in. Thanks for keeping this game going.

So don't do the PvE side of things. RvR gear will be the best you can get when Sov is out, and it ramps up the same as PvE stuff does. Don't piss in someone elses cheerios mate. You wanna RvR, you'll have a path to good gear. Some people wanna PvE, they will also have a path to good gear. It's not required unless you wrap your head around it that way.

Pretty sure that's what a lot of us wanted to hear, it definitely was not made clear in the PvE post that endgame PvP sets will always be top tier (unless there's a big time gap between these dungeons sets and sov i suppose)

Not to derail from the current conversation, but after nerfs to 2H BG has there been any thoughts of making SnB BG more appealing? Currently in RvR SnB BG does not bring a lot to table in warbands compared to the other tanks. Although it is a good class, it is still a somewhat selfish class, making it harder to gain a spot in a WB. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Rolled back most of the code changes due to Renown gain freaking out. I don't have the ability to make individual changes, so anything not specifically DB related is back to the 4/14 patch. Gaining Onslaught from the ch22 PQ's has been disabled in the meantime. as well
