It's working now just needed to disable the read only on the game folder.

Hello,
I downloaded the game client today and i've tried to install directx (witch wasn't installed because some fail occurred) unsuccessfully. I've skipped this step (with directx) and putted the launcher into the game folder and that message above is showing (and i've replaced the launcher with the unpack from the link you provided.
Any help would be appreciated.

Access was denied to the path or file WAR.exe!

Remove the write-protection (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable read-only) from all the files in the WAR folder and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

If you used the torrent to download the game, the torrent application may still be using the files. Either copy the entire WAR folder to a new location (if you wish to continue supporting the torrent), or move the entire WAR folder to another location to break access to the torrent.

Try replacing your Return of Reckoning launcher with this copy and replace your Data.myp.

I'm just getting a message in the login screen that says "Critical Error", Authentication failed -- application will now terminate"

Have tried everything that there is in the forums, and the solution of just restarting it until it works actually don't for me. I've been restarting for close to 2 hours and no progress. Any other solution that might help me?
